How Much To Hire A Gospel Choir in 2022?

How much does it cost to hire a gospel choir for a wedding, funeral, corporate event, Christmas event, party, marriage proposal? It’s 2022, prices are rising everywhere, aren’t they? Are you wondering if you can afford one? Or perhaps you’re wondering how large a gospel choir you can get! Here’s some information about what we offer, what makes us different from other gospel choirs in the UK and what you can expect from us.

What makes Get Gospel different?

  • You know who we are! When you’ve watched our instagram feed or youtube videos, you’ve become acquainted with the Get Gospel team. We only take a maximum of 2 gigs per day so you won’t be surprised by the team who shows up to your event. We aren’t a gospel choir who books any old singer on the gig just to take more bookings. Because we’ve sung together for over a decade, we have a camaraderie that makes our guests feel at ease.

  • Our sound is UNIQUE. We’ve spent a lot of time arranging and rehearsing our music and our incredible singers put their sparkle on it. When you pick famous well known songs, you’ll be hearing them with a brand new take - there is nothing predictable about what we perform to you. Our harmonies are what makes us stand out.

  • We offer our medium size PA system as standard, within the cost of your quote. We use cordless microphones to give us flexibility on where we perform. And that means, all of your guests can hear us - even if they are at the back of the room.

  • We have a massive repertoire of songs to choose from, and if you commission us to sing something new, you will hear our arrangement of it on MP3 before the day.

What are the variables in price?

  • Your location! We currently charge 30p per mile per car and add it on top of our fee. The quote will also reflect the travel time. We may need to add more for parking and congestion charge also.

  • What time of day it is. Evening gigs cost more.

  • What time of year it is. Booking January to March is usually cheaper!

  • How long you want us to perform. We have a minimum price for most things, no matter how long they are, but marriage proposals are a lot less. Adding a drinks reception to a wedding ceremony will cost more.

  • We charge less for funerals as our good will to you in a difficult time.

Daytime

These prices are for the London area in the daytime e.g. wedding ceremony, including a PA system. We don’t charge VAT. We offer larger choirs too!

4 singers with backing tracks £1600

4 singers and pianist £1900

6 singers with backing tracks £2250

6 singers and pianist £2550

For wedding ceremonies and drinks receptions (60 mins), add on an extra £100 per musician.

Evening

These prices are for the London area in the evening, including a medium size PA system - you may need a larger one which would be an additional cost. We don’t charge VAT.
